Protecting Your Health: Vaccinations

Why Vaccinations Are Important

Vaccinations help protect you and your family from serious illnesses. They teach your body how to fight diseases so you don’t get sick. When most people are vaccinated, it also protects others, like babies and older people, who may not be as strong.

Childhood Immunisations

Vaccinating your child is one of the best ways to keep them healthy. Vaccines protect against diseases like measles, polio, and whooping cough.

Here’s when your child should get their vaccines:

  • At 8 weeks, 12 weeks, and 16 weeks old: First doses of essential vaccines.
  • At 1 year old: Booster doses to keep them protected.
  • At 3 years and 4 months: Pre-school boosters before starting school.

Our team will send reminders when your child is due for their vaccinations.

When attending please remember to bring your child's Red Book with you so that we can record the immunisation information.
